Sergei Bobrovsky for Evgeni Nabokov makes sense to me. The money works in favor of the Flyers and the youth and potential works for NY. Nabokov is a better insurance policy come spring. Perhaps the Bob commodity has more value as part of a bigger deal for a bigger piece somewhere else but how many multi-player (NHLers) deals actually happen?
I think the Yankees’ rotation is fine, though if there’s an upgrade out there the Yanks should at least look into the situation. Edinson Volquez is quietly resurrecting his career out in San Diego
